Plot Summary

After the devastating outbreak at Hyosan High School, the world believed the zombie apocalypse had been contained. The survivors, led by Nam On-jo and Lee Su-hyeok, tried to rebuild their lives while dealing with the trauma of losing their friends. However, Choi Nam-ra, who now exists between human and zombie, has uncovered a terrifying truth—the virus has evolved.

As mysterious attacks start occurring beyond Hyosan, the government realizes that some infected are not just mindless zombies but have developed intelligence, speed, and even the ability to strategize. With a new breed of zombies on the rise, the survivors must return to the ruins of their past to uncover the virus’s origin and find a way to stop it before it spreads beyond Korea and into the world.

Is Lee Cheong-san truly dead? Or has the virus granted him a new kind of existence? As old enemies and new horrors emerge, the survivors must fight once again—but this time, the zombies aren’t the only threat lurking in the dark.
